August is an important month at SSC.  August is the last month of our safety year and as always, we lead SSC in safety.  Here at TAMU we have the lowest IFR’s in the company, but we must finish the year strong!  Each department will have an added safety incentive if they finish the year without a claim.  August is also the beginning of our contract year with TAMU.  It is hard to believe that we are entering year 7 of our contract.  We are currently working diligently on a contract extension as we move into the new contract year.  Lastly, August is the month in which we prepare for the start of the Fall semester.  The construction projects and summer cleaning projects are finishing up; And the students return, move-in, as we host our first football game on the 29th.  I appreciate everyone’s hard work.   Let’s continue working together to have a safe finish and a strong start to the new year!
