 July 2018 41st Edition

Richard Gentry
Regional Vice President

Each 4th of July reminds me how very fortunate we are to live in this great nation.  We have so many opportunities afforded to us and countless blessings!
SSC is getting ready to send our 6 student scholarship recipients to Guatemala in early August, where the group will build a water well and teach hygiene lessons to a community in need.  Access to clean water is a gift and most people don’t think twice about not having it.  I think it’s important for us to remember that not everyone in the world has all that we do.  The 4th of July is an optimal time to reflect on and celebrate this life we live in the USA.

Happy Independence Day from all of us at SSC!
