CHEMISTRY EXTERIOR GETS SOME TLC

The exterior restoration for Chemistry ’32 wing is nearing completion, thanks to the work of EDCS Construction Inspector Grady Winkler and Project Manager Sarah Morris.  This restoration effort included cleaning the exterior brick and stone detail and repointing the masonry.  Many of the cast stone details that had been obscured by years of organic matter are now clearly visible allowing visitors to appreciate the detail of this historic building.  There are only a few items remaining before the March completion date, including caulking, cleanup and touch-up paint.
