GROUNDS MGMT WELCOMES BRANDON MORGAN

SSC would like to welcome Brandon Morgan, our new West Campus Grounds Manager! Brandon holds his Bachelor’s in Agronomy and Horticulture from A&M and has a vast array of professional experience. During his college years, Brandon worked at the TAMU Turf Research Lab. After graduation, he went into the golf course industry and then moved onto the sports field industry working for Big League Dreams in Dallas, Houston and even California and Arizona! Brandon has also worked for Fairfield Nodal, a seismic company. In addition to keeping very busy at work, Brandon’s two daughters (ages 11 and 12) and 2 Sheltie dogs (both 1 year old) keep him on the move when he’s home. Brandon treasures the time he gets to spend with his daughters. Some of his favorite pastimes include golfing, fishing and hunting. One might be surprised to know that Brandon is ambidextrous!

Brandon shared the best advice he’s ever received, which is very sound advice we might all be able to put into practice: “When I was in college at A&M I had a professor that told us to treat classes like you would any sport you played. For instance, if you played baseball, you practiced 2-3 times a week and then played the game. Studying is the same, study a little each night (practice), and then come game time (exam), you are prepared.” Brandon is thrilled to be working at his alma mater.

SSC is very happy to have you, Brandon!
