On Sunday March 5, a group from EDCS and several family members participated in the 3rd Annual Erin's Dream Race on the Texas A&M University Campus. The 5K fun run/walk celebrates the life of Erin Buenger who lived 82 months with Neuroblastoma.  Proceeds from the event benefitted the Coalition Against Childhood Cancer (CAC2) and Be the Match on Campus.  The SSC EDCS group included Jeff Heye, David Sikes, Everett Sikes, Erik Ramos, Abraham Obregon, Monica Cortez, Kelsey Gilley, Mildred Treviño and Scott Shelton. Jeff received a 3rd place medal for his age group and Everett placed 2nd in his age group. Erik Ramos earned 12th place overall out of a total of 198 participants!  Jim Uehlin and Iraj Solouki donated to the event and were there in spirit to support the team.  It was a great team building experience that provided the opportunity for co-workers and family to have fun for a good cause.
