SSC is proud to announce that we have six amazing student workers graduating this month. While we will greatly miss having them around, we are extremely excited for them as they graduate and embark on their new adventures!
Our two AggieWorks student workers, Megan Biar and Monica Nava, have each been with us for about three and a half years. Both of these smart young ladies will not only be graduating with their Bachelor’s degrees, but their Master’s degrees as well! Megan Biar will graduate with her Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting and Master of Science, Accounting. Monica Nava is earning her Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting and Master of Science, Management Information Systems. Both Megan and Monica already have employment lined up for after graduation!
Two of our Information Management Services (IMS) student workers, Gaby Avedillo and Eddie Perez, are graduating with their degrees in Bachelor of Arts, Psychology and Bachelor of Science, Geographic Information Science (GIS), respectively. As of now, both Gaby and Eddie plan on working for our IMS department this summer.
Erik Martinez Luna, our Grounds Management student worker, will earn his Bachelor of Science, Geographic Information Science and Technology-Computer, Design and Analysis (GIST-CDA). Upon graduation, Erik will be moving to Washington, DC to start a new job!
Human Resources student worker, Kacie Rozsa, has been with us for about a year and half. She will graduate with her Bachelor of Science, Psychology and has accepted a job in her field immediately following graduation.
These student workers’ supervisors hosted a graduation celebration for them with a maroon and white cake (of course!) and other delicious treats. Each student was presented with a Texas A&M University desk set and a card signed by everyone in their respective department.
We couldn’t run our day-to-day operations without the help of our many student workers and are grateful to these six for their years of service during their time at A&M. We wish them well as they walk across that stage and into the next chapter.
