SSC Customer Relations Manager Sarah Boreen accompanied Texas A&M University’s HUB Administrator, Cindy Gillar, to the October 24th HUB Expo in Austin hosted by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. Sarah helped at Cindy’s table and connected HUB vendors to SSC’s departmental Regional Director of Operations (via their business cards) based on type of vendor.

The goal of the Statewide Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Program is to actively involve Texas-certified HUBs (minority-owned, woman-owned and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses) in the state’s procurement processes and ensure they receive a fair share of state business.

Thanks to Cindy and TAMU’s Procurement Services for inviting SSC to be part of the event!
