TRADES ADOPTS ANGELS

For the second year in a row, Trades Senior Maintenance Coordinator Lacey Emert worked with our local Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program to get children’s names (angels) for SSC associates to adopt. Last year Lacey took 25 children’s names and this year she upped the total to 40! The children ranged in age from infant to teenagers. Each child had a need listed, typically clothing, and wish (toy) listed. Bikes were a very popular wish list item.
Lacey expressed, “I am excited see to all the participation from our shop as well as HVAC, Zone C, IMS and several other employees throughout SSC who have also jumped in and participated in giving to the less fortunate.
On Friday, December 8, Operations Manager Eric Brewer will help Lacey deliver all of the gifts to the Salvation Army. Thanks to all SSC associates who adopted an angel this holiday season! Know that you are making a child’s holiday one to remember.
