ANGEL TREE PROJECT A HUGE SUCCESS!

In our December issue, we included an article on the Angel Tree Program. Thanks to all who donated to the Angel Tree project initiated by Lacey Emert, Senior Maintenance Coordinator of the Trades Shop.  Lacey worked with our local Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program to get children’s names (angels) for SSC associates to adopt.  Last year Lacey took 25 children’s names and this year she upped the total to 40!

Delivery of the gifts to the Salvation Army was scheduled for December 8 and on that morning, all SSC associates who had adopted an angel gathered for a group photo. Special thanks to customer LeTisha Zepeda of the College of Vet Med for being so generous to participate.  The project was definitely a team effort!
