EASTERWOOD'S MCKENZIE TERMINAL RENOVATION UPDATE

The $3.3 million dollar interior renovation to McKenzie Terminal at Easterwood Airport was primarily motivated to increase hold room capacity for departing passengers from 75 seats to 140 seats due to the increase in departing flights. Additionally, the interior had not undergone any significant finish updates since the initial construction of the terminal in 1986. The TSA screening area was renovated for a more efficient and improved screening time. Another advantage of the renovation includes a coffee bar inside the terminal so passengers don’t have to exit the terminal for access to it. The project finish date is February 15. Special thanks to Engineering, Design and Construction Services Project Manager David Ritter and Construction Inspector Brian Diggins for their work on this project.
