Electrician Cecil Duke retired after working at Texas A&M Physical Plant and SSC at TAMU a total of 11 years. In our December 2016 issue, we featured Cecil, who at the time had just passed the state of Texas master electrician test. Prior to getting into facilities, Cecil was a custom bootmaker and made Aggie Corp of Cadets boots for 11 years!

Cecil’s last day was January 31st, where he was honored at a retirement celebration hosted by Master Electrician John Quimby as well as Sarah Boreen and Barbara Musgrove of Customer Relations. All 60 Trades associates attended the pizza and cake lunch. Cecil was touched by their warm sentiments, both verbally and in a card they all signed.

Thank you, Cecil, for your hard work and dedication over the years.

Your contagious smile and positive attitude will be greatly missed and we wish you the best as you enter retirement!
