ASSOCIATES BECOME U.S. CITIZENS!
We are proud to announce that three of our Custodial associates became U.S. citizens in a naturalization ceremony on Thursday, February 1 at the Brazos County Administration Building. They were part of a large group – 99 people, in, fact from 27 countries – who became citizens.
Custodial associates Maria Lopez, Sylvia Lopez and Maria Zepeda all became citizens.
Maria Lopez is the custodian for the main Facilities Services building located on Agronomy Rd. Maria is well known and well respected. For the last 19 years, Maria has worked as a custodian on campus and takes great joy and pride in her work. We were so excited to hear of her citizenship and celebrated with a cake.
Sylvia Lopez is a custodian in Crew K. She has worked for Texas A&M Physical Plant and SSC since October 2008. Crew F custodian Maria Zepeda has been employed by Texas A&M Physical Plant and then SSC since March 2002. Both of these ladies are wonderful, dedicated associates who are true assets to their respective crews and SSC as a whole.
Custodial Services will be hosting a celebration for all three of these associates to celebrate them becoming citizens.
Congratulations to these three ladies on this huge accomplishment!
