MAINTENANCE REACHES NEW HEIGHTS WITH ACCIDENT FREE STREAK
SSC at TAMU Maintenance has set a new record of injury free work! To celebrate 127 consecutive days without an accident, a fajita lunch with all of the fixings was served to all Maintenance associates on July 11. Safety Coordinator Ronald Kleppel couldn’t be prouder of this streak and says, “Safety should be our first priority at home and work. It is our goal to keep safety on the forefront everyday as a constant reminder to everyone to Stop and Think before they Act. Taking a few seconds to get the correct tool or a simple pair of gloves or safety glasses could be the difference between getting the job done and not finishing the job because of a required visit to the hospital.”
As of August 1st, Maintenance has completed 149 injury free days of work!
Thank you, Maintenance, for working safe and holding each other accountable to do the right thing. Keep up the outstanding work!
