SPRING CUSTOMER APPRECIATION LUNCH A TREMENDOUS SUCCESS

 

We held our spring customer appreciation lunch on March 27 at the Equine Complex Auditorium.  It was a very well attended event and guests enjoyed a Texas smokehouse lunch catered by Chartwells and a chance to win many amazing prizes.

In lieu of a Custodial presentation, Regional Director of Operations-Maintenance, Paul Tisch, provided some helpful reminders about using AggieWorks.

 

Paul emphasized communication with our customers.  When submitting a work request, the initial communication that customers receive is an automated email with information pertaining to their request.  The AggieWorks Track webpage (https://aggieworks.tamu.edu/track.php ) was mentioned as a self-service resource for additional information regarding work requests.  Paul also mentioned that the Facilities Services webpage (https://facilities.tamu.edu/maintenance-zones/ ) provides the maintenance zone map and also includes the phone number for each zone supervisor.

 

Sustainability was incorporated into the lunch.  Instead of using disposable plates, utensils, and cups, we used china, real silverware, and glassware (thanks, Chartwells!).   Grounds Manager Carla Leonard’s Greenhouse and Color teams grew gorgeous centerpieces for the event.  Special thanks to Laura Munoz, Team Lead of Greenhouses, for all of her hard work in meticulously preparing the centerpieces.  Centerpieces were able to be taken home by guests. Barbara Musgrove put together the favors, which included an assortment of travel sized Gojo products.  

 

To our TAMU customers – our next appreciation lunch will be held on October 9.  Stay tuned for more info!  On behalf of the entire SSC team, a heartfelt thank-you to our TAMU customers for everything you do for Texas A&M University.  It is a pleasure working with each and every one of you!
