During the month of June, the SSC at TAMU Human Resources department worked on an inclusion initiative that is part of our parent company, Compass Group. HR asked each of our four departments to make a video showing how their department practices inclusion every day in the workplace. Inclusion is how organizations and their members provide ways to allow everyone across multiple types of differences to participate, contribute, have a voice, and feel that they are connected and belong, all without losing individual aspects of themselves. Each department portrayed how everyone within the department, no matter how different or similar they may be, still come together every day to work and make Texas A&M University a better place as we improve campus every day. HR Intern Melanie Cosme excitedly states, “We had great submissions from each department, and I look forward to announcing the winner. Thank you everyone, for your hard work on this project!”
