Following April’s Inclusion Week that was held April 8-12, our HR Intern Melanie Cosme wanted to send a message of thanks to all who participated:

Thank you to all SSC associates who participated in Inclusion Week. We had great participation and learned many new things about the people in our teams. The goal of Inclusion Week was to embrace the differences and similarities between each other which we accomplished through participating in the activities and discussions throughout the week. Some of the thoughts that were mentioned on the feedback sheets about what we learned included: no matter what race or religion we are, we are all a team when we come together, working together makes for a more enjoyable work environment, and my team feels more united now that we know shared things we have common.

The key takeaway from Inclusion Week is that no matter how different we are, we share something in common and that is that we are a team that works together to accomplish the same goal: making Texas A&M University a better place!

Thank you again for participating in Inclusion Week and I look forward to next year!
