CUSTODIAL SUMMER PROJECTS
The custodial department has been working on special projects over the summer, preparing for the student’s return to campus. Summer is a great time to work on floors as we have less student traffic, a few of these special projects included; • The Academic Building, 230 floor, which was damaged by a rain event. The crew worked to remove the water stain which was mixed with white paint from the wall and then applied wax to make it new again.
• The Doherty Building, room # 113 is a lab floor that has seen better days. The surface of the floor has been worn by decades of foot traffic. The crew scrubbed the floor and applied 4 coats of Vectra finish and it looks great.
