All SSC department associates work hard every day to make sure Texas A&M University represents well. During summer and vacations we plan special projects that can be completed when the foot traffic is at a minimum. Many times this is just expected and not noticed by staff, students, & parents. Sometimes, however, our hard work and dedication is recognized as with the letter Ted Dawson received from the Residence Life department.
Ted, I know it’s down to the wire sometimes with all of the tasks, responsibilities and other that all of Residence Life SSC custodial handles and takes care of. I wish I could go and thank every single person for all they do as it is amazing how everything right before opening is transformed and ready for students, parents, grandparents, you name it. I see them working hard across the board, tired faces, but still smiling and greeting me as I say hello and thank them for all they do when I have an opportunity to greet the custodial staff when we cross pass in the halls. I don’t think everyone really understands what it takes. All they know is it supposed to be done. From me to you, thank you for all you do and please pass along my sincere appreciation to our Residence Life custodial supervisors and staff. Have a great day Sincerely Steve
