Quick response by SSC Comm Center, FAS, and Night crew departments mitigated damage to research equipment in the GREB building. A slip joint connector failed and was spraying water on a FAS sensor, causing a trouble alert on the monitoring station. The technicians were on site within 15 minutes and able to valve off the line and isolated the research pod. The leak dripped through the ceiling tiles, however the technicians were prepared with drying towels and minimal damage occurred. The water was quickly-extracted.
