ZACHARY PARTY

The Faculty and Staff at the Zachry Engineering Education Complex showed their appreciation and gratitude to the custodial staff on December 16, 2019 for the great job they do of cleaning and maintaining this very busy 24 hour building. They provided them with a Fajita luncheon with all of the trimmings.
During the luncheon, department head Stephen Franklin did a brief state of the building address and spoke about the noticeable changes in the appearance and overall cleanliness of the building since Juan Montanez became the custodial supervisor for Zachry back in July of 2019. He also spoke about the good relationships the employees now have with the Zachry staff and their willingness to always do what is asked of them whenever and wherever that are needed.
He went on to say that these types of relationships are necessary to ensure continued customer satisfaction, repeat business and happy employees who will not only see the bigger picture but more importantly they will know they are not just the custodians but rather the back bone of the operations and it is equally important to the Zachry Faculty and Staff that they feel like family.
Other guests who attended the luncheon included Ted Dawson- Regional Director of Operations for Custodial, Sheila Robinson – Unit Director IV for Custodial, Patrick Munoz – Facilities Coordinator for Zachry, Andy Duel – Head manager for Facilities Planning and Management and Coby Whitehead – Security Manager for Facilities Planning and Management.
