WATCH FOR SNAKES

Snakes are on the move so be aware of their surroundings at all times. This chicken snake was found in the basement of the WisenBaker building. Custodian Maria Lara actually stepped on it as she was walking up to the door to enter the building shortly before 6:00 AM. Thankfully Maria was not bitten but it sure scared the daylights out of her. While this one was not venomous, another one certainly could be. Pest control came and apprehended the snake and took it away.
